How to use custom rosters in Madden 22

Every year, the Madden player ratings are controversial.

Whether EA Sports has undervalued a player or given a player the undeserved 99 rank, the ratings are extremely polarizing every year and Madden 22 was no different. While the ratings will shift and change throughout the 2021 NFL season, some players want their favourite player’s rating changed now.

If that’s the case with you, then you can use a custom roster in Madden 22. This allows you to change the rating of a player, change the team they play for and just about everything else related to an NFL roster. Below, you can exactly how to use a custom roster in the newest Madden title.

In order to use a custom roster, you must first create one. This is done with ease, as all you need to do is head to the NFL logo on the home screen, find the “Edit rosters” tab and then select “Manage Players.” Once here, you can alter anything you want about a team’s roster or the players on the roster.

After you’ve made a custom roster in Madden 22, you’ll then need to save it. You can view your saved files by going back to the Rosters and Playbooks menu and find “Share and Manage Files.” If your roster is saved, then you can start the process of using it in Madden 22.

The first step is to stay on the “Share and Manages Files” tab. You need to select “Load and Delete Files” from this tab and find the roster you want to use by scrolling through the various options. After you’ve found your roster, simply load it into Madden 22.

However, if you want to use a custom roster created by someone else, you need to go to “Download community files” instead of the share and manages files tab. In this section, you’ll find a plethora of community-created rosters and other content that you’re free to browse and load into your game freely. If you ever want to use a different roster, then just load it in Madden 22 and you’re free to use it the next Exhibition match you play.
