Madden 22: Ultimate Team top ten starter players

There is always a community-ception in pretty much every game and smaller groups tend to be created when a game mode or feature stands out for being fresh and unique.

We find examples in Rocket League with the Traders, in Smash Bros with the Home Run sluggers and in the case of Madden we get the MUT heads.

Madden Ultimate Team has offered, year after year, a raw escape from the game’s conventionalities and this year has already given us a sneak peek with the Top Ten Starter players to jumpstart your adventure.

Top Ten Starter Players in Madden Ultimate Team

Welcome to Madden Ultimate Team (read this in Jonathan Coachman’s voice), a place where each player and position matters.

Each zone of the field can become a strength or a weakness and the user has full control of that needle depending on their playing style and their priorities.

EA Sports is kind enough to help the newcomers with the following players, as they are the best of the best and they will carry your team through the first week before the MUT madness of packs and events begins:

1. 88 OVR WR Devante Adams - Green Bay Packers
2. 88 OVR TE Travis Kelce - Kansas City Chiefs
3. 88 OVR DT Aaron Donald - Los Angeles Rams
4. 88 OVR QB Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs
5. 88 OVR RB Derrick Henry - Tennessee Titans
6. 88 OVR CB Jalen Ramsey - Los Angeles Rams
7. 87 OVR WR Tyreek Hill - Kansas City Chiefs
8. 87 OVR WR DeAndre Hopkins - Arizona Cardinals
9. 87 OVR LT Ryan Ramczyk - New Orleans Saints
10. 87 OVR OL Zach Martin - Dallas Cowboys

The overall list seems alright, yet we find a couple of inconsistencies that in our expertise lacks a little bit of attention to detail or congruency with the rest of the game.

Two quick examples would be Derrick Henry, who somehow makes the top ten of players here but he is not even the best RB in the game, and the other is Zach Martin rated above a player like Quenton Nelson, who has been dominant since he entered the league in the same position.

This is probably us being picky and EA has a surprise that they haven’t shown the gaming community, but we will have to wait.
