There are a wide variety of characters that pop up in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. However, players are somewhat disappointed they only get to play as Peter Quill, or Star Lord. Luckily for those players, Square Enix has a way to get some of the universe’s best characters in the game.
This is in the form of outfits, which can be found throughout the Guardians of the Galaxy campaign. You can find numerous outfits for Star Lord that are immediately accessible to add some flare to your look in-game. One of the most sought-after outfits for Star Lord is called Nova-Lord, which is based on Nova, a character within the Guardians universe.
Down below, you can find out exactly where to find the Nova-Lord outfit so you can make Peter Quill look like Nova in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Finding the Nova-Lord outfit in Guardians of the Galaxy
For starters, the outfit is only available during Chapter 2. It can be found in Hala’s Hope during the mission where you have to save the commander’s daughter.
After this sequence has taken place, you’ll begin following a cadet through the underbelly of a ship. During this mission, you’ll see that you can go off-course from where the cadet is taking you. Once this happens, you need to turn to the left and crawl down the path that’s presented to you.
In this new area, you’ll see yellow crates ahead of you with pipes overhead. You can make sure you’re in the correct area if Star Lord says to the cadet: “So… we’re agreed that you owe me one, right?”
The Nova-Lord outfit is found inside of the yellow crate in the area that Star Lord talks to the cadet about owing him one. To equip the new outfit, press pause to bring up the menu and then press triangle for PlayStation, X for Switch and Y for Xbox. This will bring up the outfit menu where you can select the Nova-Lord outfit in Guardians of the Galaxy.
