Mojang had been teasing the Wild update for a long time now and also teased a few things that they were planning to add to the game. One of the highlights of this update is the biomes. The Minecraft 1.19 update sees the addition of two new biomes, namely, Deep Dark and Mangrove Swamp.

The first biome, called the Deep Dive, is among the treacherous locations in Minecraft, and you will find various things like Ancient Cities or Sculk Shrieker in this biome. Caution is advised while visiting this biome as if you come across a Sculk Shrieker because there's a possibility it will bring a Warden to your location.

If disturbed, Sculk shriekers release a loud scream which will afflict players with the Darkness status effect. If you manage to upset them enough, shriekers can also summon the Warden to attack any intruders.

Despite being blind, these creatures have exceptionally good hearing capabilities, which makes it hard for players to hide from them. Apart from the Wardens, no other creatures spawn in this location.

The second biome coming with the 1.19 update is called the Mangrove Swamp. This isn't any traditional swamp as it will appear where the climate is warm, like deserts or Jungles. Except for frogs, you will not encounter any farm animals or witches in this location.

As the name of the biome gives away, you will also find Mangrove Trees in this location, as well as mud, mud bricks, and packed mud blocks. Both the new biome seems like a great and appealing addition to the game. That's everything about all new biomes in Minecraft 1.19 update.
