While Outriders has seen its fair share of bugs over the past three weeks, none have affected the community quite as much as the “inventory wipe” bug.
Developer People Can Fly have commented on the bug several times, reassuring the player base that fixing the issue is their top priority. Their efforts on this front allowed them to release an update to ensure that the bug doesn’t keep affecting players. However, this doesn’t bring back players’ inventories who were already affected.
Luckily for that crowd, an update is coming soon that is set to return their inventory and even make it better from a stats perspective. According to one developer on Reddit, players that were affected by the bug will have their inventory returned to them but the attributes for each individual piece of gear will feature God Roll Values.

The developer went on to explain God Roll Values, stating “This means that these items will be at least the same if not better quality than the originally lost items." Also, to ensure that the returned gear isn’t at a lower level than what your character currently sits at, the gear will match your level and World and Challenge Tier.
To round out this restoration, every legendary item, equipped item and 20 additional items will be returned to players’ inventories. Unfortunately, there’s no current release date for when this patch will go live. There’s also no release date for the free legendary weapon that was promised by the developers as a result of the rocky launch. Although, the developers have stated they are working to get the update sent out "ASAP".
Players will have to stay tuned to the official Outriders social media to get updates on when those patches will go live in-game.
