The recent crossover and partnership events involving Overwatch 2 and popular franchises like Diablo 4 have been met with a very positive response from the fanbase. It appears that Blizzard is eager to capitalize on this success by launching another collaboration soon. However, this upcoming collaboration will be unique as it won't involve another game or franchise; instead, it will feature the South Korean female music group, LE SSERAFIM.

Whether you're already familiar with the group or have never heard of them before, even with their impressive 8.8 million monthly listeners, and you're curious about how this collaboration will work between them and Overwatch 2, we've got you covered. As mentioned earlier, this new collaboration with Overwatch 2 is unique and marks the very first partnership with a musical artist. This collaboration will not only feature in-game elements but, notably, will also include a live performance by LE SSERAFIM at the upcoming BlizzCon next month. Although LE SSERAFIM is a relatively new group, Blizzard describes them as "one of the fastest-growing K-pop groups globally" and promises an impressive show to promote both the band and the collaboration.

While most of the in-game details of Overwatch 2's next collaboration are being kept secret, Blizzard has hinted at a LE SSERAFIM-inspired custom game mode and exclusive in-game items, which may be connected to the recently released teaser artwork for the Overwatch 2 X LE SSERAFIM collaboration. The developer has announced that more information about this collaboration will be unveiled on October 30, and it will go live in the game on November 1.

Regarding the live event, LE SSERAFIM is scheduled to appear at BlizzCon 2023 on November 4, where they will perform "Perfect Night," the group's first English-language digital single, during the conclusion of the event. This single will be independently released by the group on October 26, 2023, and teaser images for the single feature the quintet wearing Gentle Monster's D.Va-inspired eyewear, further solidifying the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM.
