TS-1 & Barricade Guide - Overwatch 2

Once you have launched Overwatch 2, you are probably going to get familiar with the robot named TS-1. This robot and his barricades are either going to be your best friend or a nightmare for you to handle.

It is unclear whether or not TS-1 will have a major impact on the overall story of Overwatch 2, but he is going to be an integral part of the gameplay. So getting familiar with him is going to be important when you play online.

TS-1 And Barricades Are Important To Understand For Push Mode

In Overwatch 2, there are many gameplay modes that you can play while online. One of the modes that you will play is called, Push mode. Here, is where you will meet the robot known as TS-1 and the barricades that he will be pushing.

Unlike Payloads, TS-1 is an objective that both teams are trying to capture. In Push, both teams are attacking and defending at the same time.

The objective is that you are trying to get TS-1 to push the barricade to the enemy spawn point. Once you do that, you win. You can also win by pushing your barricade further than the enemy team when time runs out.

Despite not being an Overwatch 2 hero, TS-1 can actually be a very fast-moving character. If the robot is not actively pushing the objective, it will run toward it as quickly as it can. Once it starts pushing the barricade, it will slow down its movement.

Although it is pushing a barricade, the barricade itself is not that big. It will not provide good cover for your team, unlike payloads. So do not depend on TS-1 or the barricade to tank hits for you.

If there are 4 players from one team on the robot and 1 from the opposing team, TS-1 will not move at all. So your best bet to win Push mode is to clear out the enemy and let TS-1 push the barricade as far as possible before you wipe the enemy team again.
