Having successfully solved the initial puzzle on the Main Island, players can travel to the final island, north from the Main Island’s Flow Gate, and unlock the Flow Gate to teleport Caleri, Elouisa, and Zeki. However, after lockpicking another temple door, a new temple puzzle awaits players to solve, which reveals an image of the fabled Silverwing that Caleri and Elouisa had been searching for.

Unfortunately, this image is scrambled as players must make a few smart moves to solve this majestic puzzle and complete its related quest. Before they get blown away by the challenge of the puzzle, we’ve provided a step-by-step on solving the Silverwing sliding puzzle for the Eye of the Storm questin Palia.

The sliding puzzle in question will be encountered during the Eye of the Storm quest once players unlock access to the final island. Before players can reach this puzzle, they'll need to find a Flow Generator Fragment for Zeki to lockpick a door leading into a chamber where they can find the puzzle, similar to ones located inside the Temple of the Waves and Temple of the Flames, respectively.

With the door unlocked, they can move towards the puzzle, which appears to be a Silverwing; they'll need to move the puzzle pieces to form the picture of the SIlverwing upon its completion. As this puzzle must be solved as a quest objective for the Eye of the Storm quest, players have gotten stumped on how to solve it, as it's slightly more challenging than the previous ones.

Players must use the W, A, S, and D keys (or the directional buttons on the controller) to line up the puzzle pieces to form the Silverwing pattern, but remember that there are multiple ways of solving this puzzle. Here's how to solve the Silverwing sliding  puzzle inside the chamber on the final island in the Temple of the Gales:

  1. Starting from the third row, move the first three pieces to the left.
  2. Move the second piece to the last column on the right down.
  3. Within the second row, move the third piece to the right, and then in the third row, move the third piece up.
  4. Move the third piece up in the last row and slide over the next piece to the left.
  5. Back to the last column, bring the third piece (a corner) down into the fourth row, and move the second piece down.
  6. Going back to the second row, move across the third piece to the right, and in the first row, bring down the third piece into the second row.
  7. The last piece to move is the third piece in the first row, and slide it over to the left to solve the puzzle.

If players get stuck or the portrait hasn't been pieced together, they can reset the image to restart until the image of the Silverwing aligns, and the constellation glows. This will trigger an event at the Night Sky Temple, west of Mirror Pond Ruins, where a new vault unlocks, and four vault bundles become available for players to contribute items.

After they have solved the puzzle and a new vault becomes available, this completes the Eye of the Storm quest and can receive various rewards from Zeki. Be sure to visit Zeki back in Kilima Village to complete the Vault of the Gales quest, learn what he makes of the temple, and start progressing toward each of the new vault bundles.

Palia is currently available via the Epic Games Store and in Open Beta for PC, as players can install the game launcher detailed in this guide. The game is now available to download for Nintendo Switch as of 14th December 2023.
