Palia Slime Invasion Quest And Walkthrough

Palia's The Elderwood expansion saw Palians accessing a plethora of new content alongside the new Adventure Zone to sink their teeth into. This includes a bevy of new quests, from the main story to side quests to discover and explore, which may lead Palians to track down unique items and resources.

This is the case with the Slime Invasion quest, in which they must search inside a rather slimy object to find even more of them in the overworld of The Elderwood. That said, we'll get Palians out of this sticky situation as this guide details the Slime Invasion quest, featuring its objectives and a detailed walkthrough to gain its rewards in Palia.

Palia Slime Invasion Quest Objectives List

During their adventures in The Elderwood, Palians will find some unique items to forage, including infected plants, from which they can acquire Infected Essence. Another interesting forageable they can find is a rather slimy surprise awaiting them, which is how this quest begins.

They'll find a note hidden in one of the slimes, which leads them on an adventure to locate yet another slimy surprise. Let's take a look at the quest objectives required to complete this sticky quest:

• Inspect the slime
• Read the tattered note
• Search piles of slime for the core (1/1)
• Bring the core to Tamala

How To Complete The Slime Invasion Quest In Palia?

Palians can pick up this Discovery quest by exploring The Elderwood or during quests, namely, The Elderwood, Through the Woods, The Nature of Shadows, or Something Fishy. The reason is that it will lead them to the De Mer Dock location, which, following the main path to the canopy, triggers a cutscene of a strange, slimy substance found on the floor.

Finding this slime triggers the "Slime Invasion" quest, and once they've inspected the slime, they discover a tattered note hidden inside. Upon reading it, they'll learn that the note's author was looking for a slime core for their "thesis," so they need to locate this slime core by finding more of this slimy substance around the docks at the De Mer Dock, of which only four are needed to complete this objective and we've listed them below:

• Slime Location #1: Across the De Mer Dock Stable board in the corner near the handrail at the side of the staircase.
• Slime Location #2: Towards the end of the platform, found to the right of the middle canopy.
• Slime Location #3: Make a 180 facing a cliff and glide towards the nearby platform where this slime is found.
• Slime Location #4: Use the Bouncy Shroom nearby at the third location to launch themselves on top of a cliff, where, if they move in the direction of where another canopy can be seen, drop down to the platform below to find the last slime where a core can be discovered.

It's important to note that Palians don't have to find these slime locations in the above order, as the fourth slime will grant them a slime core and the next objective. With the slime core found, they'll need to find Tamala, who can be found in Bahari Bay along her daily route, which opens the World Map to show her current location.

After finding Tamala, speak to her and mention that a slime core was found in The Elderwood, and while bewildered about this lofty gift, Palians can suggest using it to make a potion. Tamala agrees to this, and she makes a Slime Potion, which completes the Slime Invasion quest, and Palians receive one Slime Potion as the reward for this quest.
