Phasmophobia’s Frostbitten Weekly Challenge reads: “It’s so cold that it’s slowing everyone down, including the ghosts!” The challenge begins on 29 January and lasts until 4 February; a new challenge will begin on 5 February, so be sure to complete this one while it’s still available. The Frostbitten Challenge is a relatively easy one, so it’s definitely worth completing - and it’s even easier with a few friends.

How To Complete The 'Frostbitten' Weekly Challenge In Phasmophobia

To complete the Frostbitten Weekly Challenge, players will need to find and correctly identify the ghost type three times on Camp Woodwind. Players cannot use the fuse box or turn on the generator, and the weather is snowy, fitting with the “frostbite” theme. Everything is the same as typical Professional difficulty in terms of equipment, though players will have no Tier 3 Flashlight and no Lighter (though Smudge Sticks are available). For finishing this challenge, you’ll get $3,000 and 3,000 XP.

While the Frostbitten Challenge does switch up the gameplay loop a bit, it isn’t a particularly hard challenge. You’ll have to get around the camp without the strong flashlight, which is probably the most challenging part; you can use Candles or your basic flashlight to help you get around.

The ghost being slow is mostly to your advantage, since they won’t be able to effectively Hunt you. However, this might also lessen their interactions with your tools - like Ghost Writing books, EMF readers, and Spirit Boxes - so you might have to try a bit harder to push them to interact. Make sure that you’re persistent in finding evidence and certain about the ghost’s identity before you disembark, since you’ll need to correctly identify the ghost in order to make progress toward completing the challenge.

It’s worth noting that Phasmophobia’s Camp Woodwind map is also the home of the Slenderman Easter egg, so if you’ve been looking for an opportunity to take a peek at this Creepypasta character hiding in everyone’s favorite ghost hunting game, here’s your chance. He can appear in several different areas, and some players have noticed that he may appear more frequently during this challenge (although that isn’t confirmed).
