BGMI releases officially for Android on 2nd July; iOS users are still waiting

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has been launched officially after the successful open beta testing. However, there is still no news on when the game will be released for iOS devices.

BGMI releases officially for Android on 2nd July; iOS users are still waiting

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) entered the open beta testing phase on 17th June for Android devices and received a tremendous response from the players in the country. Over 20 million players participated in the open beta test and provided their feedback to the developers. 

After optimizing the game for a better user experience and fixing the existing bugs, Krafton has officially released Battlegrounds Mobile India for Android devices. Players can download BGMI from Google Play Store and claim these pre-registration rewards:

  • Recon Mask
  • Recon Outfit
  • Celebration Expert (Limited Title)
  • 300 AG

In addition to these rewards, players can participate in various in-game events like Friends For Life, Journey to the TOP, etc. and claim their 1M, 5M and 10M downloads exclusive gifts including Constable Set and more till 19th August.

Here’s what CH Kim, CEO of Krafton, said regarding the BGMI launch in India:

“We at Krafton are delighted to introduce Battlegrounds Mobile India for our fans in India today. Designed exclusively for our Indian fans & gamers, Battlegrounds Mobile India will provide a superlative gaming experience. 

This is just the beginning of a series of new content, collaborations, and esports tournaments coming your way, and we will strive to ensure that our fans and community in India can fully enjoy the battlegrounds experiences.”

If you don’t see the option to update Battlegrounds Mobile India in Google Play Store, it’s suggested for you to wait a few hours as the patch is rolling out slowly for all the Android devices. 

However, there is no official announcement regarding the game’s release for iOS devices, so we’ll have to see when Krafton will make BGMI available on Apple Store.
