Starting your adventure in Paldea can help you orientate yourself with the region, find valuable items, discover hidden mysteries, or encounter various kinds of Pokémon. Eevee is one of many pocket monsters you can encounter during your time away from the Academy classrooms, and it turns out you can catch one relatively early in the game. We’ve detailed how to find and evolve Eevee in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How To Find An Eevee In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Locating this Normal-type Pokémon shouldn’t give you much of a hassle, given its popularity as the most sought-after Pokémon.

While relatively easy to locate, Eevee can be found hanging around large open areas; you may need to spend some time exploring to find it. Nevertheless, you can track down the Pokémon during the opening moments of Scarlet and Violet in one of two locations we’ve listed below:

  • South Province (Area Two), west of Cortondo.
  • West Province (Area Three), around the western side of Medali.

According to the Pokédex, Eevee is a reasonably low and uncommon spawn compared to previous Pokémon games, so you should be able to acquire plenty of Eevee should you wish to evolve it. Likewise, Eevee can be found readily at any time of the day, whether it be daytime or nighttime, and is seen walking along the outskirts of towns, pathways, and any open areas or fields.

Once you’ve located and caught an Eevee, you’ll want to catch as many as possible to evolve Eevee and acquire one of many Eeveelutions in Scarlet and Violet. As of writing, there are eight Eeveelutions in-game and obtaining one or all Eeveelutions requires specific methods.

Let’s take a look at all the Eeveelutions available and the requirements needed to get each evolution in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:

  • Flareon: Requires the Fire Evolution Stone
  • Jolteon: Requires the Thunder Evolution Stone
  • Leafeon: Requires the Leaf Evolution Stone

  • Glaceon: Requires the Ice Evolution Stone
  • Sylveon: Requires an evolution beyond Level 25 with Eevee learning a Fairy-type move

One method is obtaining Evolution Stones, an item that can readily be found by picking them up in areas across the region. Another method is purchasing them at the Delibird Presents store, which can be found in major cities.

While they mainly sell standard items, including Evolution stones, you’ll need to complete a series of tasks to access the store. Once completed, you can purchase the Fire, Thunder, Leaf, and Water Evolution Stones from the store for $3,000 each.
