We've put together a guide on how to evolve your Dipplin into Hydrapple in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet The Indigo Disk.

The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet comes with a lot of brand-new Pokémon and Pokémon evolutions that have never been seen in-game before. While trainers are already hard at work exploring brand-new areas and battling powerful opponents, completionists will also want to round out their Pokédex.

As is custom with newer Pokémon games, simply evolving a Pokémon by leveling it up seems to be a thing of the past. Now, trainers will need to jump through a myriad of hoops to evolve powerful Pokémon. The same goes for Dipplin, which received a brand-new evolution as part of the Indigo Disk DLC.

Below, we'll cover how to evolve Dipplin into Hydrapple in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC.

Before we can evolve Dipplin, we first need to catch one! Dipplin can be found by using a Syrupy Apple on your Applin. Applin can be found in the base Pokémon Scarlet & Violet game, and Syrupy Apples can be purchased for 500 PokéDollars at the Mossfell Confluence shop in Kitakami. The Syrupy Apple can be used to evolve your Applin directly, much like using an elemental stone from your inventory.

Once you have a Dipplin in your party, you will need to teach it a brand-new move called Dragon Cheer (TM266). This is acquired by beating Blueberry Elite Four member Drayton, a powerful Dragon-type trainer.

Once beaten, simply teach your Dipplin the move Dragon Cheer and level it up once. Your Dipplin should then immediately evolve into Hydrapple. Hydrapple retains its Grass and Dragon typing but has received a brand-new signature move called Fickle Beam.
