This is our guide on how to get Morpeko in the Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Morpeko Locations In The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Tons of new and returning Pokemon are coming to the game in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Teal Mask DLC. Players can now venture through the Kitkami area while exploring new locations, battling powerful trainers, and catching new creatures to add to their teams. One of the returning faces is the Pikachu clone, Morpeko. Fans may remember this Pokemon as it was the signature Ace of Marnie back in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

So, if you are curious about how to add this Pokemon to your team, we have the answers you need. This article will cover how to get Morpeko in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Teal Mask DLC.

How To Get Morpeko In The Teal Mask DLC

Unfortunately, Morpeko is not readily available to all who play through the Teal Mask. This is because Morpeko is a version-exclusive Pokemon exclusive to Pokemon Violet. This means Pokemon Scarlet players will need to trade with a friend if they want to obtain one.

That being said, in Pokemon Violet, Morpeko can be found all across the various different areas of Kitakami. Morpeko can be found in the following locations in Pokemon Violet:

  • Apple Hills
  • Oni Mountain
  • Oni's Maw
  • Paradise Barrens
  • Reveler's Road
  • Wistful Fields
  • Tera Raid Battles: 4 / 6

Morpeko can also be found in Kitakami Wild Spawn Biomes in Grass, Forest, Desert, and Rocky locations.

Is Morpeko Good In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Morpeko is not the best Pokemon, having average stats across the board. However, it does have a unique ability called Hunger Switch. This will cause the Pokemon to change form between its Full Belly Mode and its Hangry Mode after the end of each turn.

While in either form, Morpeko's signature move, Aura Wheel, will become a different type. While in its Full Belly Form, Aura Wheel will have the Electric type. Conversely, while in its Hangry Mode, Aura Wheel will become a Dark-type attack.

As mentioned, Morpeko is not the greatest Pokemon out there, and this unique ability is sadly not enough to push it into the realm of competitive viability. However, as a cute Pikachu clone, it succeeds in leaps and bounds!

Whether you have purchased the DLC or not, players can still obtain Morpeko by trading with a friend. Any and all new and returning Pokemon can be traded to players without the DLC, meaning every player can complete their Kitakami Pokedex.

And that is our guide on how to get Morpeko in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the Teal Mask DLC.
