When it comes to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, many players challenge themselves by trying to catch as many shiny Pokemon as possible. Players want rare shiny Pokemon, shiny legendary Pokemon, and shiny Pokemon from events. The novelty of having a shiny Pokemon is very hard for some players to resist.

Speaking of events, a new Tera raid event is coming that features the Ghost and Flying-type Pokemon, Drifblim. The Drifblim Tera raid event is coming, and players are asking this question: can you get a shiny Pokemon from this Tera raid event? Here, we will go over if it is possible to get a shiny Drifblim from the Tera raid event or not.

Is It Possible To Catch Shiny Drifblim In Tera Raid Events?

If you want to know if you can catch a Shiny Drifblim from the Tera Raid events, you need to know a couple of things. First of all, this is not a Black Crystal Tera raid event. What that means is that you are allowed to catch as many Drifblims as you see fit. With Black Crystal Raid events, you are only allowed to catch one of that event raid Pokemon. For that reason, Black Crystal Tera raid events are shiny locked and you cannot catch a shiny Pokemon from those raids.

With that being said, the Drifblim raid events are not Black Crystal Tera raids which means they are not shiny-locked. So yes, you can catch a shiny Drifblim during its Tera raid event. When you are doing this event raid, you are free to catch one or 100 Drifblims if you so desire. Just remember that for this Tera raid event, you will have normal Tera raid odds to find a shiny Drifblim.

Can Pokemon Violet Owners Do The Drifblim Tera Raid Event?

One thing that you might notice from the announcement of the Drifblim Tera raid event is that it is a Pokemon Scarlet exclusive event. What that means is that in Pokemon Violet, a Tera raid for Drifblim during this event will never appear. Does that mean that Pokemon Violet players can never do the Tera raid event?

That is not true. Pokemon Violet players can go and search online in the game for raids. Pokemon Scarlet players will likely ask for help during these Tera raids as they are more difficult than normal raids. So with online gameplay, Pokemon Violet players can freely join in on the Drifblim Tera raid event.
