Masts return to Rocket League after six-year absence

Rocket League is at its peak when it challenges the player base and takes them out of their comfort zone and Galleon is just that.

Announced on 13th May, the Rocket Labs collection of maps will be getting an addition in the shape of Galleon Retro, a reimagined version of an old school pitch.

The original field comes from Rocket League's predecessor, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, or SARPBC for short.

The ship-inspired design translated into two huge masts that divide the lowest level of the field into thirds.

These masts will not only get in the way of the attackers' shots but also on your way to the kickoff as spawn locations are unaltered when queued.

Player reception has been nothing but great, just like every Rocket Labs project which really changes things up in the standardized world of Rocket League.
