Ladies and gentlemen, the Rocket League Championship Series is upon us! After four long months, the RLCS is back with a vengeance.

Bringing in a bigger prize pool, better competitions and even more regions to the mix all while promising the long-awaited return of LANs, this is starting to look like the best campaign to date.

Without getting too ahead of ourselves, though, the season has to go through a process of finding the creme de la creme in each continent, starting with regional events then majors all leading to the World Championship.

From prize pool to format to who’s playing to make a good first impression, here’s everything you need to know about the first North American event, the Fall Regional of the 2021-22 season.

RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 schedule

The RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 will be held from 15th to 17th October 2021.

The RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 will have 16 North American squads going at it:

RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1: How to watch

The RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 will be streamed per usual on Rocket League’s YouTube and Twitch channels. 

On the first day, each team will have their own Twitch channel streaming Day 0 because of the number of matches played during the 20-team Round-Robin phase.

RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 Format

The RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 will have two phases to the tournament:

Swiss Stage - 15th October 2021

  • 16 Team Swiss System Format.
  • All matches are Bo5.
  • Top 8 Teams proceed to the Playoffs.

Playoffs - 16-17th October 2021

  • Single Elimination Bracket.
  • All matches are a Bo7 except the Grand Finals, which are a Bo3 set for a Bo7 (First to win 2 Bo7 series).

RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 prize pool

The RLCS 2021/22 NA Fall Regional #1 has a total prize pool of $100,000. The prize pool plus RLCS Circuit Ranking points needed to qualify for July 2022 World Championship is distributed as such:

  • 1st: $30,000 and 301 points
  • 2nd: $20,000 and 250 points
  • 3rd - 4th: $8,500 and 200 points
  • 5th - 8th: $4,000 and 150 points
  • 9th - 11th: $3,000 and 110 points
  • 12th - 14th: $2,000 and 70 points
  • 15th - 16th: $1,000 and 40 points
