Rocket League Rocket Pass Season 2: Release date, cost and what to expect

In September, Rocket League went free-to-play, and developed Psyonix started over with the Rocket Pass Season 1. Now, as the first new season is edging ever closer to an end, we look towards the future. Here's what we know so far about the Rocket League Rocket Pass Season 2, its release date, what you can expect and its price.

Rocket Pass Season 2: Release Date

The first new season is expected to come to an end on 9th December 2020. 

You can expect the release date of Rocket League's Rocket Pass Season 2 to be 9th December, or 10th December depending on your timezone region.

Rocket League Season 2 runs until the 31st of March 2021.

Psyonix announced everything players can look forward to in Season 2, including new customization for goals, all Rocket Pass items and a new arena to enjoy.

 

Rocket League Rocket Pass S2 Price

The price of the Premium Rocket Pass for Season 2 should be around 1000 credits judging by the first new season. The Premium Rocket Pass will give you access to all tiers, as well as exclusive special edition items.

The Rocket Pass S2 bundle which has a price tag of 2000 credits will give you everything the Premium Rocket Pass does and unlocked the first 12 tiers. 

Tiering up through credit purchases (1 tier for 200cr, 6 tiers for 1000cr, 12 tiers for 2000cr, 30 tiers for 4000cr) will always be available to players throughout the season even after acquiring the Rocket Pass.

Rocket Pass Season 2 content

The Season 2 Rocket Pass is centred around music; lights, speakers, beats and mic drops. With 70 tiers to unlock (and then some painted goodies for trading), this time around we will get new cars, goal explosions, and most importantly, Rocket League’s new customization feature, anthems.

New challenges go out every Wednesday; three challenges for everyone and three additional challenges to Premium users. All challenges provide a reward, that being drops or XP, which will be of great help to level up and progress through the Pass items.
