SMITE Caster John Finch passes away

The SMITE community is in mourning after the official esports Twitter account confirmed the passing of John Finch on 23rd May.

“On Thursday, we were informed that one of our casters, John Finch, has passed away and the news, as you can imagine, shocked a lot of people”, the SmitePro account shared, confirming the Finch’s death as the reason behind all of the esports events’ delay.

“We’ll be back with more when we have more. In the meantime, look after yourselves and be nice to each other”, the announcement concluded.

Fans, players and fans alike shared their condolences all over the internet. The cause of Finch’s death is still unknown.

John Finch entered the scene during the 2017 game show The Caster. Although he wasn’t the winner, Finch got picked up for his talent and potential and became a staple in the community in no time.
