The circuit board is one of these resources, and while it's extremely useful to craft electronic devices, finding them can be tricky.

How to find Circuit Boards in Sons of the Forest

Circuit boards can be found in various locations around the island, and there are no specific locations where you can find them. As such, below we've listed all the places you can find circuit boards in Sons of the Forest, so be sure to keep your eye out for the following:

• Inside radios (breaking them open grants you the circuit boards).
• Inside loot boxes (spread across the map in various abandoned locations).
• Inside computers (breaking them open grants you the circuit boards).
• Generally near electronic devices or inside them. 

Aside from the locations mentioned above, you can also find circuit boards located randomly throughout the island in loot caches, with some locations having tons of radios laying around to scavenge for circuit boards, making farming the boards quite easily. Most caches will often be found in cannibal camps, abandoned camps, and other abandoned places where you find loot. 

How to Use Circuit boards in Sons of the Forest

As with most other crafting materials in the game, circuit boards are used to craft items in the game. However, they are only used to craft one specific item in the game, timed C4 bombs. 

The recipe for creating a timed C4 bomb is listed below: 

• x1 Circut Board
• x5 Coins
• x1 Wristwatch
• x1 Wire
• x1 Duct Tape
• x1 C4 Brick

Once crafted, the bomb works by detonating a few seconds after being thrown by the player.
