Will Sons of the Forest Be On GeForce Now?

With the release of the Sons of the Forest, many players are keen to jump into this new survival horror experience as soon as they can. Ultimately, this has led players who make use of the cloud streaming platform GeForce NOW to wonder if the game will be available on the platform.

If you're one of these players, or you're just curious to know if Sons of the Forest will be available on GeForce NOW, then we have the answers for you below. 

Will Sons of the Forest Be On GeForce NOW?

Simply put, no, Sons of the Forest will not be available on GeForce NOW at the time of writing, according to the recent blog post from Nvidia listing the games available on the platform for February 2023. However, this may just be the case at launch and could change as the game garners more support over the coming months.

Many fans also suspect that the game will likely be available on GeForce NOW in the future because the game's predecessor, The Forest, is currently available on the cloud streaming platform. So while we won't be getting a cloud version of Sons of the Forest right now, it's likely that the game will make its way to the platform over time, just as the first game did. 

Another source that points towards the game likely being available on the platforms is provided by SteamDB's listing of Sons of the Forest. Under the game thumbnail are logos that indicate the game's features, and one of them is an NVIDIA logo that, when hovered over, reads "Cloud Gaming (NVIDIA)."

Many fans also point out how, generally, it would make sense for the game to be supported on GeForce NOW to appeal to more players on PC who don't have or want to purchase the hardware to run higher-end games. Since the game is a PC exclusive at the moment, this would also be a more financially sound decision for the developers to make and reach a wider audience. 

Of course, this isn't hard evidence that the game will have support for GeForce NOW, but it does give us more reason to believe the game will be supported than not.
