Some locations in the game such as the hidden bunkers and items such as the golden mask are more difficult to find, luckily the Winter jacket is fairly simple to get your hands on. It's located in a campsite located on the map as shown in the image below. 

Once you reach this area, you'll see a few red tents that are quite hard to miss, and you'll know you're in the right place when you see a waterfall close by. Now all you have to do is search each of the tents in the camp and you'll find the winter jacket on one of the bodies lying there and congratulations, you now have the winter jacket at your disposal.

How To Use The Winter Jacket In Sons of the Forest?

The winter jacket is one of the main items you'll need to keep in your inventory if you want to survive the harsh and deadly environment on the island during Winter. It will keep you warm and give you more time to spend outside of your base camp to hunt or fight off mutants and cannibals when it's snowy and cold outside. 

This will not only give you more time outside but prevent eh build-up of fatigue, which can easily cause your health to start draining if you're caught in the cold for too long. Players should note that the jacket can get wet, which will give you the wet and cold status effect, and to remove it you'll need to sit near a fire to dry off, after which the jacket will protect you from the cold once more.
