How to unlock Scavenger Abilities in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga

Individual character classes are one of the new additions within LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and the Scavenger abilities happen to be some of the most important. While they may not affect combat to any serious degree, they are integral to collections and exploration around the galaxy.

In comparison to some of the other character classes in The Skywalker Saga, the Scavengers are few and far between. Finding them without any guidance can get frustrating quickly, but there is one way to earn access to Scavenger abilities quickly. For that, you'll need to seek out Rey.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - Earning Scavenger abilities quickly

The easiest way to get a hold of the Scavenger abilities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is to play through the later episodes. This is because Rey herself is a Scavenger, and she sets off in Episode VII right away, just like the Force Awakens did. 

Within Episode VII, you'll need to play through some of the main missions before making any real progress to the more specific Scavenger Rey character. These missions go by quickly and they will eventually lead to a mission called Scrap for Scraps. As you might have guessed, you'll need to go scrapping with Rey in this section.

Overall, Rey will need to find 20 scraps. Along the way, players will begin to earn some of the Scavenger abilities until three are made available with Rey. All three of the abilities are essentially just tools that allow for traversal otherwise unavailable to most characters in the game.

Scrap for Scraps will teach you how to use each of the tools, so there won't be any confusion as to how they work. Once the mission is over, Scavenger Rey will be available, and so will her Scavenger abilities.

Using Scavenger abilities in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

With the new abilities available, you'll be able to use this new knowledge on any Scavenger class character that you have available in the future. This allows for far more access to areas that you couldn't reach within nearly any other episode.

To use the tools, all you need to do is open up the tool menu and choose between the Net Launcher, the Glider, or the Breaker Blaster. They can be made indefinitely and dropped, so players are definitely encouraged to try out different tools where they can.

With the tools ready, you can freely take on what the galaxy has to offer at every corner in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga!
