Tekken 7 Season Pass 4 leaks with Kunimitsu and roadmap

UPDATE

An official trailer has been released following the leak, showcasing exactly what to expect from the return of Kunimitsu.

Original story:

Ahead of an official announcement, Bandai Namco Brazil has accidentally leaked details of Tekken 7’s Season Pass 4.

In what was scheduled to be announced during the US East Open Tournament, a trailer for Kunimitsu was uploaded to Bandai Namco Brazil’s YouTube channel before it was swiftly taken down.

As always, it didn’t take long for details to spread online - including a roadmap of the next season.

According to the leak, Kunimitsu, who hasn’t appeared as a playable fighter in the franchise since 1996’s Tekken 2, will arrive in Q4 2020 with a new “Red Gates” stage.

This will be followed by a new unannounced character and stage in Q2 2021, while there’ll be free updates to add new moves, new ranking system Tekken Prowess, and improvements to the user interface and online gameplay.

Originally released in 2015, Tekken 7 has become arguably the best entry in the franchise to date, and is currently remarkably cheap across Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

An official announcement is set to arrive at the US East Open Tournament on Saturday at 6pm PT/2am BST on Tekken’s Twitch channel
