Top Five Best Items In Teamfight Tactics

Teamfight Tactics is arguably the most popular Auto-Battler game in the market right now, and for a good reason. TFT has updated on a very regular basis thanks to the constant patches that are pushed through. The patches make the game feel fresh throughout the month, and there is always something new to try out.

The amount of variety players can experience with each game of TFT is massive. This is especially when you consider the number of mechanics, items, augments, and so much more. Here, we are going to talk about what are the top five items in TFT right now so you can better prepare for your games ahead.

What Are The Best Items In TFT?

There are a lot of different items in TFT. One of the key aspects of the game is building the right item for the right unit. Not knowing what items are good can be very detrimental to your experience. Luckily, some items are generally good to use. Note we will not talk about Radiant Items or Ornn Items, as you cannot get them reliably.

Sunfire Cape

Sunfire Cape is an item that you will typically put on a tank unit. Unites like Garen, Ekko, or Shen. Sunfire capes make it so that nearby units have a harder time healing while increasing your defenses. It makes enemy units easier to kill, so it is an overall good item.

Giant Slayer

Giant Slayer is one of the damage items that nearly every carry unit wants. It increases the attack damage and ability power of a unit, and on top of that, the higher the opposing unit's HP is, the more damage is done to them. This is great on carry units such as Vex, Jhin, and Miss Fortune.

Thief's Gloves

Although Thief's Gloves is not usually an item that players will first choose, it is an excellent way to itemize a secondary carry or tank. The random items you get from Thief's Gloves are a huge boost to either your damage or defenses with very little commitment. So put Thief's Gloves on your secondary carry or tank units.

Zephyr

Although this is another item that you do not want in the early game, at the end game, it could be the difference maker between winning and losing. This item will remove one enemy unit from play at the start of combat for a few seconds, giving you the time to take down the enemy team. Zephyr should go on a unit with no other items so you can move that unit around to disable your opponents easier.

Shroud Of Stillness

Shroud of Stillness is ranked as the best item in the game right now. It is not something that you want in the early game but that you would rather have in the end game. Shroud of Stillness makes it harder for enemy units to cast their abilities. When every inch counts in the final rounds, Shroud of Stillness is usually the difference between winning and losing. If you are in the top 4 of TFT and you want an edge against everyone, Shroud of Stillness is usually the right answer. Like Zephyr, you should put Shroud of Stillness on a unit with no other items or a frontline tank so you can move them freely.

Should I Always Build The Top 5 Items?

One of the best things about TFT is the amount of variance that each game has. There are going to be multiple cases where the items above are necessary to win. But there are going to be other cases that say that the above items will not get you victory.

Statistically, the items above are the absolute best in the game. However, depending on the certain situation you are in, you might not want to pick up the above items for your current game of TFT. Use your judgment to see what items will help you when you are playing TFT.
