How To Unlock Deadlock In Valorant: All 4 Ways Explained

Want to unlock Deadlock in Valorant? There are a total of four ways to do it, and you can get details about all of them here.
How To Unlock Deadlock In Valorant: All 4 Ways Explained

Deadlock is the newest Sentinel added to Valorant in Episode 7 Act 1. She hails from Norway, and her abilities are focused on slowing down players and trapping them. She can be paired with agents like Killjoy, Raze, etc., to create deadly strategies, and if you want to try her out, you will have to unlock her.

Now, with the new Progression System, the process of unlocking agents in Valorant has changed, and here is how you can unlock Deadlock through four different methods.

Valorant Deadlock: How To Unlock With 4 Different Ways

Agent Recruitment Event

Agent Contracts have now been replaced by Agent Recruitment Events in Valorant. These events will be automatically activated for every new agent, and the same is the case with Deadlock. Her Agent Recruitment Event is currently active, and to complete it, all you have to do is play matches and earn 200,000 XP.

Deadlock's Recruitment Event will be active for 27 days, so if you want to unlock her using this method, you must gain the required XP within this period.

Using Kingdom Credits

If you miss unlocking Deadlock before her Recruitment Event ends, you can get her by spending 8,000 Kingdom Credits. It is a new free currency added to Valorant, and you can earn it by playing matches and completing Dailies. This method will be available only after the Agent Recruitment Event ends, so it should be your second option.

In addition to this, keep in mind that you can have a maximum of 10,000 Kingdom Credits at a time, so spend them somewhere. Also, Riot has given 5,000 Kingdom Credits as a bonus with the release of Episode 7 Act 1, and all you have to do is earn 3,000 Kingdom Credits yourself to unlock Deadlock.

Xbox Game Pass Subscription

Riot recently collaborated with Microsoft to provide Valorant players some exclusive benefits if they are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber. One of these benefits is that every new agent will be unlocked for you from Day 1, and this includes Deadlock as well. So, if you have the subscription, link your Riot Games account to your Xbox Game Pass account and start playing Deadlock instantly.

However, you have to keep in mind that the day your Xbox Game Pass subscription gets deactivated, the agent will get locked again if you have not collected enough XP during her Agent Recruitment Event.

Spending Valorant Points (VP)

This is another paid method to unlock Deadlock instantly, and you will have to spend VP that you can purchase by spending real money. You will need to spend 1,000 VP to get Deadlock, and it should be your last option to go with, as you can purchase Deadlock using this method anytime.
