Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator - Gameplay
The publishers note that players will be challenged by providing unforgettable memories for their guests, whilst managing all operations of the hotel and trying to grow the business. The game will also offer the perfect escape for those feeling trapped by lockdown or travel restrictions by allowing players to enjoy their stay and play as guests in "Wait mode".
Anyone familiar with simulation games like Two Point Campus, Sim City or Two Point Hospital should know exactly what to expect. In case you're not familiar, Hotel Life boasts the following features, as indicated on the Steam Store page.
Build your own hotel
Players can select the ideal location for their hotel. Once a location has been selected, they can build all the facilities required, including reception, restaurant, pool, bungalows, all of which are fully customizable.
Players will also be able to fully furnish and decorate spaces both inside and outside of the hotel, using various colours and materials (such as concrete, wood, plaster or stone).
Players must see to all aspects of their guests stay, from check-in to check-out. This includes tasks like picking up guests from the airport, cleaning, tidying, food and even entertainment.
Players will do this until they are able to hire staff to manage these jobs for them. Guests will also leave online reviews so players must ensure they have a pleasant experience. The happier your guests, the better the online reviews will be.
As a manager, players will have to balance several responsibilities, including the recruitment of staff, organising tasks, managing reservations, creating menus, and also seeing to the hotel's profitability.
Hotel Life will put each player's entrepreneurial and managerial skills to the test. Once players installed basic facilities, they will be able to expand and upgrade the resort according to their budget. This may include buying a larger pool, a sauna, a DJ stage or new sports equipment.

- Sandbox mode - This mode allows players to choose to manage an existing hotel or build one completely from scratch.
- Wait mode - This mode allows players to play as a guest and enjoy a mini-holiday, whilst being able to admire their hard work.
