Life Is Strange: True Colors Wins Peabody Award

Life Is Strange: True Colors has won a Peabody Award 'for showcasing both empathies as a superpower and the power of games as a medium for emotionally resonant storytelling'. This makes it the second Life Is Strange game to win such an award, with the first game also winning a Peabody Award.

The Peabody website also states that "the whole development team created a diverse and inclusive game, seeking out consultants, including mental health professionals, to ensure that the characters and themes were authentic and respectful".

Life Is Strange: True Colors was released in late 2021 to critical acclaim, with many calling it the best game in the Life is Strange series. It was nominated for several awards, winning eleven different awards from different outlets, and received a DLC chapter which was released not long after the game itself.
