Motive Studio's Iron Man Game Could Be Using Unreal Engine 5

A recent job listing may indicate that the upcoming EA Motive Studio's Iron Man title is being developed in Unreal Engine 5.

A listing has appeared on the EA hiring website for a Software Developer (Audio) that contains the following excerpt:

"Unreal Engine 5: Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5's audio system, including working with audio components, audio graphs, sound cues, and Unreal's Blueprints visual scripting"

Motive Studios first announced the game in September 2022 through a blog post, stating:

"We're thrilled to share that an all-new single-player, third-person, action-adventure Iron Man video game is now in early development at Montreal-based Motive Studio. The team is being led by Olivier Proulex, who brings experience working on past Marvel titles like Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, and is joined by a dedicated team of passionate industry veterans including Ian Frazier, Maëlenn Lumineau, and JF Poirier at the studio.

Developed in collaboration with Marvel Games, this game will feature an original narrative that taps into the rich history of Iron Man, channeling the complexity, charisma, and creative genius of Tony Stark, and enabling players to feel what it's like to truly play as Iron Man"

There are currently no real details on when we can expect the game to release though, especially as it reportedly only entered full development earlier this year and the studio is still hiring. It could be a few years before we see more of this title.
