Serious Sam 4 PC system requirements revealed

Serious Sam 4 from developer Croteam is releasing on PC and Stadia on 24th September. Find out if your gaming rig is up to the task with the official Serious Sam 4 PC system requirements.

The next entry into the iconic FPS franchise which focuses on over-the-top action will feature a Legion system, making it possible for hundreds of thousands of enemies to be on the screen at the same time.

Just like everything else in the Serious Sam franchise, the Serious Sam 4 PC system requirements on the recommended level might seem a bit excessive. However, if you simply want to run the game, most gaming PC setups built in the last few years should be able to handle it.

Check out the minimum and recommended Serious Sam 4 PC system requirements as per the game's Steam page below.

Minimum requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: 4-core CPU @ 2.5 GHz
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: nVidia GeForce 780/970/1050 or AMD Radeon 7950/280/470 (3 GB VRAM)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 40 GB available space

Recommended requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (1909)
  • Processor: 8-core CPU @ 3.3 GHz
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: nVidia GeForce 1080/2060 or AMD Radeon Vega64/5700 (8 GB VRAM)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 40 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: Recommended APIs include DX12 and Vulkan.

It is important to note the minimum Serious Sam 4 PC system requirements are for "720p rendering resolution at 30 FPS" so don't expect a smooth 30 FPS experience at 1080p, which is pretty rough.

Serious Sam 4 will release on consoles sometime in 2021 due to an exclusive Stadia deal.
