How To Get Treasure Coffers In Conan Exiles Age Of War

With war coming to the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah, this sees plenty of valuable loot and treasure waiting for players to find and claim throughout the world. This will be a challenge as these are often guarded by enemy NPCs and monsters, as clans need to strategize how they’ll bring these treasures back to base.

As for how to store these prized possessions, your clan will need to build a new space locked away behind lock and key, and this sees new building structures, like Treasure Coffers, made available. This guide explores what Treasure Coffers are and how to get them in Conan Exiles Age of War Chapter 1.

What Are Treasure Coffers In Conan Exiles Age of War?

Treasure Coffers are a new feature coming in the Age of War Chapter 1 update, which functions like a treasure chest when placed inside a Treasure Room with a Treasurer NPC beside it. Coffers allow you to bring these treasures back to base, and by interacting with the coffer radius, you can place them inside, where the Treasurer NPC will record them in a ledger.

This contributes to your personal Coffer and will be documented in your Clan Treasure Coffer tallies, and you can interact with the Treasurer NPC to view all Coffer tallies. Some treasures will be more sought after and, therefore, more valuable; these types of treasures are known as Heroic Treasures.

Like with standard treasures, these can also be found across the world; however, according to Funcom, the difference is that Heroic Treasures won’t be tallied towards your Clan's Coffer tallies. Additionally, the developer will add new challenges linked to Treasure Coffers, which was detailed in the Age of War Public Beta patch notes.

These challenges will assist you in progressing with the upcoming Battle Pass, as they can help you unlock various rewards on the free and paid tiers; we’ve listed the new challenges below:

• Apply a Clan Emblem
• Build a Coffer
• Place three Small Treasures
• Claim a Heroic Treasure
• Contribute to a Coffer value of over 1,000
• Contribute to a Coffer value of over 5,000
• Contribute to a Coffer value of over 10, 000

How To Get Treasure Coffers In Conan Exiles Age Of War?

As for writing, developer Funcom revealed in a recent blog post that players can craft Treasure Coffers before placing them anywhere within their home base. What hasn't been clarified is how players will be able to craft a Treasure Coffer, whether a blueprint is required and how to obtain it, or whether specific Thrall/s can craft this item.

If the former is true, you either obtain the blueprint by buying it from a merchant NPC, Thrall, or potentially an early reward for the free tier of the update’s Battle Pass. Either way, acquiring a Treasure Coffer for yourself or your clan should be made available as early as possible so you and your clan can start hunting down treasures and have them recorded, displayed, or stored within the Treasure Room.

As this feature is now available with the launch of the Age of War Chapter 1, details on how to get Treasure Coffers may be revealed. As such, we’ll continue providing updates on Treasure Coffers once they are publicly made available.
