Apex Legends is renowned for its immersive multiplayer experience that combines intense combat with unique and colorful characters. But the more popular a game is, the more likely it is to be affected by hackers, and recently a new way to crash your lobbies has been causing trouble for Apex Legends players.

This new hack makes use of a Bangalore exploit that causes players' games to crash while playing which can be frustrating, to say the least. So if you've been affected by this or want to know more, then keep reading, as we look at the details surrounding this new hack and what the community at large has to say about it.

Though Apex Legends has had its fair share of exploits and glitches in the past, some can be more destructive and just ruin the fund far more than others. The glitch we are talking about today was just recently discovered on the 13th July by Martin ‘gdolphn’ Skrydstrup, a popular content creator.

The Bangalore exploit, simply put, allows the hacker to cast Bangalore's ultimate numerous times in one single shot, causing a maelstrom of rockets to fall from the sky. This ultimately breaks the game's engine and causes the games of all players who are too close to the ultimate to crash.

This is not only game-ruining for players who perhaps had a great streak going, or were on track to gain hefty amounts of experience as they played. But it also means that if this happens in a ranked game, players can get hit with an abandoned penalty and lose RP which is especially problematic for up-and-coming pro-players.

Players have stated that they have seen this glitch before, even as far as a few months ago with some sending screenshots and clips to Respawn with no action being taken. Though Respawn has previously stated that "if players are caught abusing this cheat, they’ll have their accounts permanently suspended. No questions asked." which would likely apply here.

But players are getting more and more frustrated with this hack in the game as it ruins the fund and stakes when playing, and we are hopeful that Respawn do something about this sooner rather than later. And if you do run into this glitch in the game, just hope and pray you are far enough away to not get booted out, and if you are, report it to EA support if possible.
