The otherwordly enchanted region of Bandle City gets sent into chaos following the collapse of the portal system in the new fun-tastical adventure, Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story. As this realm has been claimed to be the whimsical home of the Yordles, players will embark on a mystical journey to restore the magic at Bandle City without using the portals.

The game is scheduled to release on PC and Nintendo Switch consoles globally, "one humongous problem" arises on whether players need to link their Riot account to play the crafting RPG. Before players can repair the portals to save Bandle City, we've discussed in this guide if they are required to have a Riot account to play Bandle City.

Is A Riot Account Required To Play Bandle Tale?

Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story is an upcoming crafting RPG from Lazy Bear Games and Riot Forge, which expands the world of Runeterra as players explore the magical realm of Bandle City. Avid League of Legends (LoL) players have been intrigued by this cozy spin-off game; one interesting subject has been discussed if a Riot account is needed.

As Riot Forge is a division within Riot Games, naturally, players wondered whether a Riot Games would be needed to play Bandle Tale. As Riot Forge expressed that upcoming and future titles will be towards developing a "strong experience" for single-player games, and Bandle Tale is a single-player experience, players will be happy to know that they don't need a Riot account to be linked to play the game.

With the game arriving on PC and Nintendo Switch, there's no confirmation yet if Riot Forge is bringing it to PlayStation and Xbox consoles in the near future. As the game is being brought to Switch consoles this month, players can utilize the Save Data Cloud feature included with the Nintendo Switch Online subscription; however, it's not recommended if they have a microSD card inserted.

Nevertheless, players will begin their journey as a Yordle who've completed their centuries-long apprenticeship and will explore Bandle City to learn about life beyond Yarnville. These new regions are interconnected with the portals found across these locations while foraging and crafting items and hosting fabulous parties until a cataclysmic event occurs.

They will rely on their knitting skills and getting acquainted with several League of Legends Champions along their journey as they unveil the secrets and party on to keep fellow Yordles happy and entertained. Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story launches on 21st February 2024 for PC and Nintendo Switch as it's still available for pre-purchase ahead of its global release.
