The fifth week's Operation Shattered Web missions are now live on Counter-Strike servers, bringing new tasks in various modes including Danger Zone and Guardian.
Operation Shattered Web week five missions - Field Trip

Operation Shattered Web has now been out for over a month and CS:GO's biggest fans have been eagerly awaiting the next set of missions.

Getting this week's stars will allow players the first opportunity to level up their Shattered Web Challenge Coin from bronze to silver, provided they hit 33 missions completed.

Field Trip is the name of week five and there is a variety of challenges across the majority of game modes to complete.

Feed the Birds

Befriend chickens for 180 seconds in Deathmatch: Defusal Group Delta.

Chickens will follow players if you press E while your crosshair is on them. While these feathered fowl becomes friends to you, other players can (and probably will) kill them.

While Deathmatch doesn't have teams, sticking in areas where friendly teammates are spawning or waiting in a corner with your chicken(s) will help pass the time quickest.

Inferno is the only map in Defusal Group Delta that naturally has chickens, but Deathmatch mode brings the chickens to whichever map is played.

Scenic Tour

Use a parachute for 10 seconds in Danger Zone.

When first dropping into either Danger Zone map, you start by abseiling down to your chosen location.

Parachutes are used when you respawn to get you back into the action and can be found as loot.

While ten seconds doesn't seem like a long time, being up in the air leaves you both visible and vulnerable.

Stop and Smell the Roses

Get 25 kills with the Negev in Deathmatch: Dust II.

This challenge is going to make Dust II Deathmatch a very loud place to be this week.

The Negev is a machine gun that is usually used either to troll opponents or as suppressive fire on a low buy round. Despite this, it can be strong when used in the right situations.

While a duel between two players isn't usual, it will come down to a battle of timing, spray control and clever manuevers to get the kills required against better-suited opposition.

A Walk on the Breach

Get 10 round wins in Competitive: Breach (Scrimmage)

Breach was added to CS:GO in July 2019 as part of the update that brought Scrimmage mode to the game.

The unranked 5v5 mode has been popular and Breach is a sprawling map with its own secret slide easter egg.

The challenge is pretty straightforward as you have to win ten rounds and finish the match to earn your stars.

Take the Long Way Home

Get 50 kills in Casual: Defusal Group Sigma.

In the casual 10v10 mode, you will have to get 50 kills across the Defusal Group Sigma maps.

There are no weapon requirements so you can use whichever weapons you are most comfortable with for this mission.

Behold the Sites

Get 25 AWP or P90 kills in Guardian: Overpass.

Whether you want to strike enemies down from afar or get up close and personal, this mission allows you to choose your approach.

Guardian requires a second player in the game mode so you will need to recruit a friend. The good thing about this is that their kills contribute towards the total needed for the task.
