Can You Get Flying Cars In Cyberpunk 2077

Take to the skies of Night City by finding a flying car or installing a mod to drive one, as we've explained in this guide for Cyberpunk 2077.
Can You Get Flying Cars In Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 features a vast array of vehicles for players to travel easier in Night City, gain an advantage over the Corporates, or as a means to impress NPCs. As there are vehicles for V to find and travel on land and water, there are vehicles that can allow them to travel within the skies of Night City.

Flying cars are a popular mode of transportation; however, only some flying cars can be driven, but there is a way to achieve this. We’ve detailed how to find flying cars in Night City and whether you can drive them in Cyberpunk 2077.

Where To Find The Flying Cars In Cyberpunk 2077?

Yes, Cyberpunk 2077 does feature flying cars, namely hovercrafts hidden in Night City; however, there is a catch to it. Players cannot drive the hovercrafts; however, they can ride them due to a workaround that requires you to get the Reinforced Tendons leg Cyberware from a Ripperdoc.

You’ll need this to double jump onto a flying car, as there appears to be an invisible wall preventing you from accessing and driving the vehicle. There are four hovercrafts found in Night City, specifically in Watson, where you’ll need a truck to access the hovercrafts and help you get some boost to double jump onto the rooftops.

Make a left turn at a set of robots by the street sign, which reads Brookland, and go down the alleyway until you reach an open space with buildings on the left side. At the second building, back the truck up to the entrance and climb onto the truck, and wait for a police hovercraft to station on one of the rooftops.

Once the hovercraft lands, you’ll need to wait until they start taking off for you to perform as many double jumps to land atop the hovercraft. Climb onto the roof of the hovercraft, which should allow you to “ride” the vehicle wherever it’s traveling to and can be repeated from the remaining flying cars to be found in Night City.

How To Get The Flying Cars Mod For Cyberpunk 2077?

Another way to get flying cards is by installing the mod, Let There Be Flight, from the Nexus Mods website, which only applies to the PC Steam version. Additionally, you’ll need to have the REDmod, the game’s official modding tool, installed, which also supports the Let There Be Flight mod.

Once you’ve downloaded the file, view the mod’s requirements to see which files are required to install, which can be downloaded and placed in the game’s Root Directory folder. You’ll need to repeat this procedure to install the flying cars mod, and once the installation is completed, you can launch the game and gain access to all the flying cars available with this mod.

If you wish to uninstall the mod, you'll first need to ensure that the Cyberpunk2077.exe file has stopped running by checking it from the Task Manager. You can execute the "red4ext/plugins/let_there_be_flight/uninstall.bat," which will delete the mod from the game.
