Dead By Daylight August 2022 Bloodrush - Hooked On You Release Celebration

Dead by Daylight's sister dating simulator, Hooked on You, was released by developers yesterday after Behaviour Beyond, their game showcase and announcement live stream.

Following its release, Behaviour has added some bonuses to Dead by Daylight for those who are excited about the release of Hooked on You. Here's all you need to know about the August 2022 Blood Rush in Dead by Daylight and how to participate in the festivities.

August 2022 Blood Rush

To celebrate the release of the Dead by Daylight dating simulator Hooked on You on Steam, developers are rewarding players with bonus Bloodpoints for the next week.

From 3rd - 10th August at 3 pm ET, you'll earn 1.5x Bloodpoints on all matches of Dead by Daylight, as well as double bonus XP for your first match of the day as both killer and survivor.

In other words, you'll want to play at least one game of survivor and one game of killer each day to maximize your gains and earn that double bonus XP.

XP helps you level up, and when you level up each time, you'll earn Iridescent Shards; gaining double XP is a great way to earn Iridescent Shards faster.

Developers recently raised the Bloodpoint cap to 2,000,000 from 1,000,000 in the recent Mid-Chapter update, meaning you'll now have even more space to store all of the Bloodpoints you'll earn during this Blood Rush.

You can also earn up to 40,000 Bloodpoints per match now as both killer as survivor - with 10,000 in each category - up from a previous total match maximum of 32,000 Bloodpoints with 8,000 in each category.

Considering the recent Mid-Chapter Update also decreased the grind by 75%, according to developers, this may be a great opportunity to truly earn more Bloodpoints than you ever have before.
