Dead by Daylight sometimes kill switches killers when their power isn't working as intended, and the most recent killers to be kill switched are The Twins. Due to some issues with the brother and sister duo's playability, they're no longer an option for players to play as at this time. This has left many players wondering when they'll return to the game. Here's when The Twins will be back in Dead by Daylight.
When Will The Twins Be Back In Dead by Daylight?
Note - As per the latest DBD Update 7.6.1 patch notes, the devs will be re-enabling The Twins.
The Twins were kill switched in March due to "an issue causing Charlotte to be hindered in her navigation." Developers gave no date as to when The Twins might be back, instead stating only that they'll be back in a "future update."
The length of time that a killer is kill switched depends on how long it may take Behaviour Interactive to fix any issues with their power. In some cases, as with the fairly recent Knight kill switch, the inability to play a killer can last several weeks to months. However, most of the time, killers are re-added to the game within a few weeks.
This will likely be the case with The Twins, even though nothing is confirmed yet. We can expect The Twins to be re-added to the game sometime in late March or in early April.
However, it's all up to when Behaviour is able to fix issues with The Twins and put them back in the game. It could take as little as a few days, or as long as a few months. Behaviour would likely want to re-add The Twins to the game before the Blood Moon event, which begins in late March, to allow Twins mains to participate while playing their favourite killer.
