Destiny 2: Cryosthesia 77K exotic sidearm - How to get, perks, and more

Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer is finally here, and despite some early hiccups involving the HONEYDEW error code, fans that got into the world may want to check out the latest weapons added to the game.

One of them is the exotic sidearm Cryosthesia 77K, which has been highlighted as a very unique gun, as is one of the few that uses Stasis, the latest subclass to be added into the game.

Cryosthesia 77K - How to get

The simplest way to acquire the Cryosthesia 77K exotic sidearm is by purchasing the Season Pass, which costs 1,000 Silver, or roughly $10 depending on your region. The sidearm will automatically unlock as a premium reward.

Alternatively, you can grind until level 35 of the free track to unlock the weapon.

Cryosthesia 77K - Perks

As we've said, the Cryosthesia 77K is one highly anticipated gun due to its perks, essentially, if you get kills with this sidearm it will charge a stasis shot which can freeze enemies by spending the Cryo's entire magazine.

For Bungie veterans, it sounds like a perfect way to relive the good old days of the plasma pistol combo, letting you use the gun to freeze opponents and deliver the final blow with another weapon.

• LN2 Burst: Variable Trigger: Press and release to fire individual shots. Hold to fire a Charged Shot when Liquid Cooling is active.
• Liquid Cooling: Final blows with this weapon enable a Charged Shot for a short duration. Targets hit by this shot are instantly frozen at the cost of the weapon's entire magazine.
