Destiny 2 Season 18 Title, Theme, Activities Leaked

Bits and pieces of info regarding Destiny 2 Season 18 have started to appear ahead of the grand Destiny 2 showcase on 23rd August 2022. While Bungie remains tight-lipped, the Destiny community continues to ride the hype train, thanks to numerous leaks.

While we still do not have much official info to go through about Destiny 2 Season 18, notable leakers have datamined and posted some key details, including its title, setting, and more.

If you're curious to find out these details before the upcoming Destiny 2 showcase, fret not. We have got you covered.

What is Destiny 2 Season 18 called?

Destiny 2 Season 18 is called Season of the Plunder if notable Destiny leaker and data miner Josh Hunt's statement is anything to go by.

Will Destiny 2 Season 18 be pirate-themed?
According to Cambridge Dictionary, Plunder means "to steal goods violently from a place, especially during a war," something that fits into the long-rumored pirate-themed season.

A pirate-themed Destiny 2 season could be refreshing after three hive-focused seasons. If this piece of info got you excited, don't worry, we have more.

What are Destiny 2 Season 18 activities?

According to Hunt, Season 18 activities are called Expedition and Hideouts, something that also heavily resonates with the pirate theme.

For those unaware, every Destiny 2 season adds a six-player activity and a narrative-focused three-player linear mission that pushes the seasonal storyline every week.

What is Destiny 2 Season 18 raid?

Season of the Haunted added the Duality Dungeon, and the upcoming Destiny 2 Season 18 is set to bring a new raid to the game.

According to Hunt, the new raid is none other than King's Fall from Destiny 1's Taken King expansion.

It's been long rumored that the reprised season 18 raid would be Wrath of the Machine or King's Fall, and it seems the latter is the case.

And that's it for the Destiny 2 Season 18 leaks. Josh Hunt also accurately leaked the Season of the Haunted title before its reveal, so there might be more credence to this leak.

That said, you should still take this with a grain of salt. Thankfully, the Destiny 2 showcase is not far.
