Digimon Survive – How To Befriend Deltamon

To survive the digital world, you'll need help from any Digimon, friend, or foe like Deltamon. Here's how to befriend him in Digimon Survive.
Digimon Survive – How To Befriend Deltamon

Digimon Survive allows players to access over 100 Digital Monsters to befriend or battle against, but only a few are available early in-game. While you will test your Digimon's strength against more powerful ones during battle, you would be better off befriending them rather than capturing them.

Deltamon is one of these early Digimon as its impressive hard-hitting attacks and good maneuverability make it a resourceful Digital Monster when utilized. This guide will explore how you can unlock and befriend Deltamon in Digimon Survive.

How to unlock Deltamon in Digimon Survive

Unlocking the Virus Digimon can be achieved during the Free Battle mode, which unlocks for players after Part 1. You can locate this mode under "Free Bat," where you can initiate a conversation with them by selecting "Talk" and then choosing the Digimon from the list.

To befriend Deltamon, players must follow the outlined rules for befriending Digimon, as you'll be asked a series of questions or statements. Your answers determine your chances of befriending the Digimon by increasing an Affection Meter above their head.

However, if the Affection Meter isn't enough to make friends with Deltamon, he'll run away as you'll have to try again. This requires you to give the best answer possible as there are four answers to choose from, and each of them can have one of the following effects:

  • Their Affection increases by two-meter bars
  • Their Affection increases by a meter bar
  • Their Affection decreases by a meter bar
  • Their Affection reduces by two-meter bars
