The prestigious Dota 2 The International 10 (TI10) is fast approaching and fans are eager to find out which teams will compete for the more than million prize pool. The South American and Eastern European Qualifiers concluded last week and saw teams SG e-sports and Team Spirit qualify for the wildcard spots, respectively. But now, we must find out which North American teams are worthy of laying claim to the Aegis of Champions.
TI10: North American Qualifiers - Schedule and Format
The Dota 2 TI10: North American (NA) Qualifiers kicks off this week, from the 30th of June until the 3rd of July 2021. The playoffs will be played online in a double-elimination bracket format and each match will be a best-of-three; apart from the Grand Finals, which will be a best-of-five.
The team that wins the NA Qualifiers will earn the wildcard slot for their region in TI10. The seeding of the playoffs brackets is based on current DPC standings, assuming no further penalties, and are displayed below.
The teams competing in the Qualifiers will therefore comprise those that were not eligible for a direct invitation by placing in the top 12 of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) rankings in season 2. This means that there are twelve Dota 2 teams competing in the TI10 NA Qualifiers this year.
These teams include:
- The Cut
- Black N Yellow
- Simply TOOBASED
- D2 Hustlers
- Arkosh Gaming
- 4 Zoomers
- Team DogChamp
- Electronic Boys
