How To Get Spellblade's Pointed Hat In Elden Ring & Stats

Become acquainted with Sorcerer Rogier and help him seek a relic to obtain the Spellblade's Pointed Hat and the entire set in Elden Ring.
How To Get Spellblade's Pointed Hat In Elden Ring & Stats

Elden Ring players will have access to a wide variety of armor sets that can be flexible across many types of builds and complement different playstyles. Other armor sets can reduce your resistances, enhance various stats and Affinities like Magic and Holy, and the Spellblade Set is one such set.

More specifically, the Spellblade's Pointed Hat is an armor piece included in the Spellblade Set; however, how you can obtain it does require you to locate the set's owner in The Lands Between. This guide details how to get the Spellblade's Pointed Hat and explains its armor stats in Elden Ring.

How To Get Elden Ring's Spellblade's Pointed Hat?

The Spellblade's Pointed Hat is the helm or crown piece included in the Spellblade Set found in The Lands Between. This armor set consists of four total pieces, including the Pointed Hat, with the Travelling Attire, Gloves, and Trousers completing it.

This armor set may be recognizable as it's the same set worn by Sorcerer Rogier, whom many will be introduced to at the Roundtable Hold; however, to acquire it, you'll need to find him and start his questline. To begin his questline, you'll need to find him at the chapel on the northwest side of Stormveil Castle before the Godrick the Grafted boss battle.

After defeating him, Rogier will move to the Roundtable Hold, where he'll act as a Merchant NPC selling Ashes of War, and you can begin his questline. You'll need to start his questline before finding Ranni the Witch at The Three Sisters, or it will be locked, and you won't be able to acquire this set.

Continue progressing with his questline, including finding out what he is seeking at Stormveil Castle and viewing a particular memory before returning to the Roundtable Hold. Speak with the other Tarnished at this location before being sent out to locate a relic and show it to Rogier.

Only then can you meet with Ranni at Ranni's Rise to seek more information on the relic before Rogier recommends you to become Ranni's Vassal. Progress with Ranni's questline and periodically visit Rogier at the Roundtable Hold before he falls into a slumber and therefore dies.

Resetting the Roundtable Hold, you can go to Rogier's location and find a few items he left behind, namely a letter regarding D's brother and his location, Rogier's rapier, Bell Bearing, and the Spellblade Set. Once looted, his body and chair will disappear from the Roundtable Hold, and you can continue advancing Ranni's questline.

Elden Ring Spellblade's Pointed Hat Stats

This set is a good early option for Magic, Faith, and high Intelligence builds, as this set has a decent Damage Negation to Magic and Holy attacks. While its in-game description states that the set increases all Glintstone sorceries, it also has a hidden effect to increase all damage dealt by Ashes of War.

This also includes specific Ashes of War that are the default Weapon Skill on weapons like the Horn Bow and the Night Comet sorcery of the Night-And-Flame Stance of the Sword of Night and Flame weapon. Stats-wise, it has a Damage Negation against Magic attacks of 4.5 and Holy attacks by 4.5 at its base level.

Likewise, it has a decent Damage Negation towards Lightning attacks by 4.1, hence why the Spellblade Set is a good option for the aforementioned Magic and Faith builds. Against Slash and Pierce attacks, the helm piece negates 1.3 of Physical attacks but doesn't do well against Strikes.

Overall, the helm piece's Resistance stats are relatively modest but offer minimal Poise boost. It does increase your Focus (resistance to sleep and madness) by 25 and Vitality (resistance to Blight build-up) by 27.

It increases your Robustness (resistance to Blood Loss and Frostbite) by eight and general Immunity (resistance to Poison and Scarlet Rot) by 15. It's worth noting that these Resistance stats can be significantly increased by equipping the entire set to your character to improve your Resistance to these blights and poisonous effects.

And that completes this guide on how to get the Spellblade's Pointed Hat in Elden Ring. We want to thank the YouTube channel It's Shatter for the complete walkthrough of acquiring it in-game. Please consider subscribing to their channel and watching the video below for more details.
