Fall Guys Guide: How to win at Jump Club

Now that Fall Guys has finally released, over 1.5 million players have entered the fight for first place in the wacky battle royale-style game. Playing a series of minigames with the aim to be the last jellybean standing at the end of it all, there’s a lot to learn if you want to be the best. Here’s how to win at Jump Club.

How to win Jump Club

At its core, Jump Club is a rather simple game mode. Certainly, it’s less tricky than the intimidating new final stage: Jump Showdown. But there’s a knack to staying alive in this survival minigame, and it’s always good to be prepared.

In Jump Club, two poles will spin around the circular stage, with the intent of knocking players to their doom. A large pink pole will hit jumping players, and a smaller green pole will trip up those who fail to jump. To ensure that you’re not struck by either obstacle and knocked into the slime below, timing is everything.

Not only do you need to ensure that you’re timing your jumps correctly, but it’s also best to make certain that you’re not encountering the two poles at the same moment. Running towards or away from the incoming obstacles should allow you to jump when the two poles aren’t together, therefore giving you a little space to work with.

Jump Club players should also make good use of their dive, as it could allow for tighter, and longer distance jumps to be made. It can also help fix the more poorly-timed jumps. Often, getting hit by either pole will lead to a quick elimination, but players should be most wary of the lower pole as it is notorious for trapping players who get hit and carrying them to their demise.

Quick Tips

  • Make sure you’re not going to encounter both poles at once
  • Don’t grab players in this game mode, as you may not be quick enough to let go in time
  • Use your dive to correct any jumps that didn’t go as intended (or to simply lift up your legs a little more)

Fall Guys is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC. PlayStation Plus members can download it for free this month.
