EVO has announced registration for its upcoming online tournament will open on 5th June, and will be free to everyone across the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea and Europe.

EVO Online registration will open on Friday 5th June 2020, allowing players from around the world to sign up for free across various regions. 

Competitors can sign up for as many open tournaments as they like, spread across titles Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, Skullgirls 2nd Encore and Them’s Fightin’ Herds. 

EVO Online is also raising funds for Project HOPE who support frontline health workers around the world dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, with an EVO Online badge and lanyard available if you donate $25 USD. 

 

When does EVO Online registration start and end? 

You can sign up for EVO Online starting Friday 5th June 2020 at 12pm PDT/ 8pm BST. 

Registration ends on Sunday 28th June at 8pm PDT/4am BST, with the full schedule set to be announced 12th June and prize information on 26th June. 

 

How do I sign up for EVO Online? 

You can sign up for EVO Online from 5th June at the below link relevant to your region.

  • US, Canada and Mexico (here)
  • Japan and South Korea (here)
  • Europe (here)

This also means the open tournaments will be region-locked as above across all four titles.

  • Them Fightin' Herds (Steam PC) - July 4-5th
  • Skullgirls (Steam PC) - July 11-12th
  • Killer Instinct (Windows 10 PC/Xbox) - July 18-19th
  • Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath (PS4) - July 25-26th

Dragon Ball FighterZ, Tekken 7, SoulCalibur VI, Samurai Shodown, Granblue Fantasy Versus, and Under Night In-Birth will all receive special exhibitions - details of which are yet to be announced. 

EVO Online starts 4th July and will be streamed on the EVO Twitch channel
