Forza Motorsport held their latest Forza Monthly livestream on 6th November 2023, highlighting what's coming soon to Forza Horizon 5 and Forza Motorsport. Regarding Motorsport, developer Turn 10 Studios discussed the latest game optimizations and bug fixes included in the game's next update, Update 2.0, launching on 14th November 2023.

Of the new Forza content that players can look forward to in-game, there's a new career series, the Prestige Tour, that will form part of the Builders Cup in the update. We've combed through the livestream to explain what the Prestige Tour and its availability for Forza Motorsport.

What Is The Prestige Tour & How Does It Work In Forza Motorsport?

Forza Motorsport's career mode, the Builders Cup, focuses on "competition, car progression, and car building" through curated "automotive stories." Currently, the Builders Cup has Featured Tour events coordinated around themes that spotlight a new car each week, while the Open Tour is centered around a specific Car Class that may be themed.

In Update 2.0, a new type of event, the Prestige Tour, will be added to the Builders Cup, which places great emphasis on the cream of the crop in the automotive industry. According to the official post, "prestige is something that must be earned, combining elusive, elegant quality with unmatched performance, technical innovation, and a storied heritage."

Likewise, the Prestige Tour will have two event types, Showcase and Open Tours, which players can participate in on a weekly basis. The Open Tour for the Prestige Tour will be centered on celebrating the best Italian manufacturers, where players will have to build and race their best Italian stallion on the race tracks against other competing Italian cars.

The Showcase Tour will have weekly themed events with a Spotlight Car, which should evoke the hearts of "every automotive enthusiast." Depending on the month, there will be four to five Showcase Tours for players to power their way through, and as usual, players are to have completed the Intro Series to access all tours available for the Builders Cup.

Once players have completed all playlist events for the Showcase Tour, they'll be able to claim the Reward Car, which will change each month. Likewise, if players complete all Open Tour events, they will be rewarded with a new car upon completing the Open Tour playlist.

Forza Motorsport is available for Xbox Series X|S, PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam and through Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and Cloud Gaming as of 10th October 2023.
