Garena has decided to introduce Free Fire players to its lore and has announced Free Fire Tales: The First Battle to introduce the game's lore to its players. The campaign will feature Hayato Yagami as the main character, and Free Fire’s first animated series, How To Start A Fire, will release as a part of this.

How To Start A Fire release date and trailer
How To Start A Fire will release on April 23 and will feature the story of Hayato Yagami as he proceeds in his life to find ways to resolve his inner struggles and overcome obstacles in his path.
You will be able to witness the first fight between the Free Fire characters in the movie, and here's its trailer for you to have a first look at it.
Free Fire: Hayato Yagami's back story
According to the official website of Free Fire Tales, Hayato is the eldest heir to the Yagami Group, an international mega energy corporation and was supposed to take over the corporation as decided by his father, Souta Yagami.
However, life had other plans, and a terrible family tragedy left Hayato at the head of the corporation with a huge burden on his shoulders and forced him into an extremely tight spot with Horizon.
The movie will also feature various other characters like Izabel Lionel, a talented geneticist who helped Horizon take additional control in North Terra after the end of the Great Collapse.
She was not alone and had Kane, a co-founder of Horizon, by her side however his sudden death left Izabel to control Horizon by herself.
Apart from this, you will also get to see three board members of the Horizon in the film, i.e. Greta, Bayu, and Seo Jun.

Izabel also has a loyal servant named James Baldwin, whom she helped him rehabilitate after different genetic ailments left him disabled in early life.
Last but not least, you will also encounter a Hippo-shaped bionic beast in the game that is a Horizon experimental object. It looks almost like a real hippo, but its metal backbone is of Horizon's making and is the source of its 'life'.
