Best Wild Rift champions according to their role
As everyone will know, a basic team for any MOBA consists of five main roles, which are covered according to the lane that corresponds to your preference or the one you want to focus on in the game.
It’s important to note that some champions can be used in multiple roles efficiently, however, we will focus on the main roles for each of these. With that said, let's start with the tier list.
Top Laner (Baron's Lane):
Garen, The Might of Demacia (Picture: Riot Games)
Recommended for Fighter, Assassin, and Tank class champions, with lots of 1v1 matches. It requires a lot of patience, farm control, map vision and ease of rotation for team fights.
Master Yi, the Wuju Bladesman (Picture: Riot Games)
It doesn’t have a line or lane as such, but it’s one of the most important roles. It requires great vision control to know when to rotate to support your allies, ambush, and win objectives, obtaining gold and items mainly by killing epic monsters or monster camps.
- Xin Zhao
- Jarvan IV
Ahri, the Nine-Tailed Fox (Picture: Riot Games)
A role primarily controlled by Mage and Assassin class champions. Very dependent on the use of skills, and ability to make combos, being one of the main components of the team.
- Twisted Fate
AD Carry (Dragon’s Lane):
Jhin, the Virtuoso (Picture: Riot Games)
The main line for Marksmen class champions. Together with the Support, they make up the team's rear offensive, requiring good communication and coordination throughout the game. It’s essential to learn how to last-hit (eliminate minions, to get the best possible return in terms of gold and items.
- Miss Fortune
Support (Dragon’s Lane):
Blitzcrank, the Great Steam Golem (Picture: Riot Games)
Their main job is to assist the bottom lane in attacks and sieges, as well as providing entry opportunities in team fights, map vision control, heals, shields, etc. A great element of utility and survival within the matches.
Now thanks to this list, along with the guides we'll periodically upload, you will be able to take your first steps in Summoner's Rift in the best possible way, whether you arrive from the PC version or are a newbie eager to learn everything about League of Legends.
