In Lies of P, you can get the hidden weapon, the Golden Lie, by completing the game while telling most lies and listening to the records until Carlos, aka P's, hair turns white and have given peace to Sophia at the near end of the game while ensuring you have found the "Boy's Portrait" and offered it to Geppetto. 

To make things easier, we have shared the pre-requisites for obtaining the Golden Lie weapon below:

• Tell lies throughout the game
• Obtain the "Portrait of a Boy" from the Black Rabbit Brotherhood hideout after defeating the Eldest Son boss
• Give the "Portrait of a Boy" to Geppetto in Hotel Krat
• On Alchemist Isle, when you meet Sophia, choose the "Give her peace" option
• Defeat Simon Manus
• Go to the Depths and talk to Geppetto and refuse to give your heart 
• Defeat the Nameless Puppet boss 
• Skip new game plus and head back to Hotel Krat
• Go to Geppetto's room on the first floor 
• Interact with the "Portrait of a Boy" on the wall near the door 

Note: You can obtain the weapon even without completing the game if you manage to get your hair white by listening to all the records in the game. 

You will obtain the Golden Lie weapon in Lies of P when you do that. Remember that the weapon is attached to you being more human than a puppet, which you can become by listening to the records and telling lies throughout the game.

Should You Be Using Golden Lie In Lies Of P 

While the Golden Lie is a special hidden weapon in Lies of P that you can obtain only after meeting a tedious set of requirements that are easy to miss, the weapon itself falls short when it comes to use. Low damage, a standard moveset, and a regular weapon like scaling make things even worse.
