Palia PC Beta: Release Date, Start Times & Countdown

Following the recent Nintendo Direct showcase in June 2023, developer Singularity 6 unveiled an official game trailer for the forthcoming cozy MMO, Palia. Since its reveal, the developer announced that a planned Public Beta period would soon arrive on PC with another Alpha Stress Test on the way.

Players who have yet to join the Palian adventure can begin their adventures by registering for Public Beta, which will have them join either the Closed or Open Beta. This guide outlines everything you need to know about the Palia PC Public Beta, including its starting dates and times, playable content, and provided countdown timers to keep track of the Betas starting soon.

Developer Singularity 6 announced that their upcoming cozy MMO game, Palia, will be "entering its most epic adventure" in their forthcoming PC Public Beta. The PC Public Beta will include dates for a Closed and Open Beta in August 2023, for which players can begin their registration process.

The Palia PC Closed Beta will begin the adventures, starting on 2nd August 2023, in which the developer noted that the NDA will drop along with the Closed Beta's release. Exactly one week later, the Open PC Beta will continue proceedings on 10th August 2023 as all players can join the game, regardless if they had participated in the Alphas and Closed Beta.

Palia PC Beta Starting Times

Whether you're joining the Closed or Open PC Beta for Palia, players can jump into the cozy environment in which we've shared the confirmed dates and times below:

• PC Closed Beta: Begins on 2nd August 2023 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC
• PC Open Beta: Begins on 10th August 2023 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET / 5 pm UTC

It's also worth mentioning that the developer has confirmed that a second Alpha Stress Test will commence before the start of the PC Closed Beta. As this is a by-invitation-only, the Stress Test 2 invites have been sent in which 200,000 players return to Palia, including Alpha Testers, according to the developer.

This Stress Test is under NDA, so players cannot share any in-game footage, screenshots, opinions, and more during and after the Stress Test. This Stress Test 2 will begin on 25th July 2023 between 2 pm and 6 pm PT / 5 pm and 9 pm ET / 9 pm and 1 am UTC on 26th July 2023.

Palia PC Beta Platforms

While the cozy MMO will launch on additional platforms, the Public Beta will only be available to players on PC. It's yet to be determined if the game will be made available via the Epic Games Store as of writing; it's more likely we can expect it to be made available through Steam despite no game listing.

Nevertheless, players will need to register an account to start the process, as this will qualify them to participate in either the Closed or Open PC Beta. Likewise, players must have a stable and secure internet connection and minimum or recommended PC requirements as this Public Beta will be available to North America (NA) and Western Europe (West EU) servers.

Palia PC Beta Playable Content

While their announcement post didn't explicitly state what content players are expected to explore when in Palia; however, we can refer to previous detailed posts for their Alpha Tests. As the developer is looking to test "the strength of our Palian muscle," they want to iron out "rough edges" and polish the game to ensure players get the best-polished game at launch.

As we expect more details to be announced on what content and features players will likely be available, you will get to join other players in the Town Square, learn the game's lore, and enjoy leisurely activities such as fishing, gardening, hunting, mining, and more. Lastly, the developer confirmed that players will get to retain their gameplay progression as there will be no account wipes starting with the Beta.
