The Psychic-type Pokémon, Unown T, will be arriving in Pokémon GO shortly through a limited-time event starting this month. As part of Generation II Pokémon, it was first introduced in 2017 alongside multiple Pokémon from the Johto region.
Unown T is one of 28 variations, featuring the remaining letters of the alphabet plus two additional forms, Unown ! and Unown ?. We’ll explain how Trainers can acquire this Psychic-type Pokémon from the Bug Out! Event starting soon in Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO Bug Out! Event – How To Get Unown T
According to a developer blog post, the mysterious alphabet Pokémon, Unown T, will be available during the upcoming Bug Out! event as an Ultra Unlock bonus. The limited-time event will begin on 10th August 2022 at 10 am local time before it concludes on 16th August 2022 at 8 pm local time.

During this event, Trainers will be given plenty of opportunities to catch new and returning Pokémon and complete event-exclusive challenges. Additionally, they can battle through various Raid battles available throughout the event in which Unown T will appear.

Trainers who have yet to add Unown T to their Pokédex will want to the advantage of the opportunity when the Bug Out! Event begins. There’s also an opportunity for a Shiny Unown T to appear during the Raid, which will interest Trainers who have and haven’t caught the Pokémon in-game.
There are several Ultra Unlock event bonuses Trainers can acquire, including receiving bonus Candy when catching Pokémon successfully using Nice, Great and Excellent Throws. Trainers Level 31 and higher also gain a chance to get Candy XL when catching Pokémon successfully using Nice, Great and Excellent Throws.
Trainers participating in the Bug Out! event can expect a few surprise encounters, especially with Bug-type Pokémon. This will occur when you snap up a photo anytime during the event, so take a picture and see what happens next!
Additionally, it’s known within the Pokémon GO community that capturing 26 Unown will grant you a special reward. You can receive a unique medal when capturing all Unown Pokémon, which becomes available after three are caught, upgrade it when ten are caught, and eventually again after 26 Pokémon.
